A first-of-its-kind strategic effort to help improve Arizona’s educational system for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
The Arizona STEM Network's five-year plan was launched on February 28, 2012. Led by SFAz, the STEM Network leverages effective education practices and teaching advances, including the state-adopted, internationally benchmarked Common Core Standards. The driving force is to help Arizona children be successful in school, careers and life.
The plan focuses on four strategic areas:
• SFAz's Afterschool STEM Clubs
• Summaries of Key STEM Network Initiatives
from discovery to productive use to create advantages for Arizona.
SFAz is a public private partnership that strengthens Arizona's economy by making strategic research and development investments.
