RFP for Small Business Catalytics
The purpose of the Science Foundation Arizona (SFAz) Small Business Catalytic Program (SBC) is to invest in innovation at Arizona’s Research-Performing Institutions (RPI) that will have high impact commercial outcomes. For 2008, the Small Business Catalytic Program will fund in two categories: Seed Funding that SFAz provides to Arizona’s researchers is intended to act as a catalyst for technology development and company formation. Product Accelerator funding is intended for funding of an R&D partnership between a principal investigator (PI) at one of Arizona’s RPIs and an Arizona company (including RPI spin-outs) at a critical phase in the product development cycle that requires a joint research effort between the PI and company to ensure a products success and accelerate its time to market.
